Originally titled Six Concertos for several instruments, the (six) Brandenburg Concerti were composed over several years from 1711-1720. Each Concerto was composed for different instrumentations. Composed for the Margrave of Brandenburg-Schwedt in 1721, written during Bach's time as Kapellmeister in Cöthen, I'm looking forward to performing this fantastic music again.
