Description
A fun Halloween piece for students of all ages, Flutes from the Other Side was originally written in honor of Halloween for my student ensemble Pam's Pipers. The title is a pun! At one point while playing this, the players turn their flutes around and play from the other side (left handed). This way, the tone sounds airy, eerie and rather ghostly especially when players hum into the flutes simultaneously. This is a fun atmospheric piece, perfect for a Halloween concert! The tempo is slow, the Level is medium beginner and beyond.
